Jo Ann Cato Gillespie has been an educator and a life-long learner since 1970. Working currently on her doctorate at Grand Canyon University, she has been instrumental in establishing National History Day in her district; facilitates the Chapman University Art and Writing curriculum as well as previously providing workshops ranging from a gate curriculum that allows for differentiation and motivation. Today's strand will focus on differentiation for a gifted middle school student using lesson plans and strategies that include technology and hands-on activities.
