Lynn Barakat has been an enthusiastic and innovative classroom teacher for over ten years. At a time when Chandler Unified School District was instrumental in identifying and providing the cognitive and affective needs for gifted students, Lynn learned quickly how education had changed since the days of textbooks and teacher-directed instruction. Now, Lynn’s desire is to share how student-led inquiry and passion-based learning can foster an enriching and interactive collaborative learning community.
