Our gifted learners crave more choice and voice in the classroom. This workshop will provide a practical guide for educators using a technology toolbox to reach our students. Choice boards and playlists are innovative ways to promote equity in your classroom to reach all learners. Please bring a device and have a lesson or unit in mind that you would like to revise using personalized learning. We will take differentiation to the next level!

Game On! Increase Number Sense and Problem Solving with Coding in the Primary Grades

Coding is a great way to teach problem solving and increase students' number sense. During this hands-on session, you will be introduced to on and off-line coding activities suitable for K-2 students that can be integrated into your daily lessons. You will see how coding can create a game atmosphere that is engaging, challenging and encourages collaboration. Classroom clips and lesson resources will be shared.
