Creating Visible Thinkers through Literacy and STEAM
Limited Capacity seats available

A powerful tool for teachers is planning units. We believe the integration of literature books with other content areas elicits deeper comprehension and visible thinking and learning among students. We will share a unit on A Long Walk to Water, along with several picture books on water and its importance in the world. The unit will include the use of Depth and Complexity Icons for thinking and discussion, integration of STEAM strategies, including The Arts. The various components of this unit allow all students different avenues to enhance their own visible thinking and learning.
