Engage in a discussion around the characteristics of gifted students with an emphasis on the possible behavioral impacts of characteristics in the classroom and how parents can support at home. This session will be conducted in Spanish.

Depth and Complexity - Learning the Thinking Prompts / Profundidad y complejidad - Aprender las indicaciones de pensamiento

Participants will receive an introduction to the GATE standards and the Depth & Complexity Thinking Prompts. The session will focus on developing an understanding of the impact of the thinking prompts on the extension of vocabulary, metacognition, and the overall thinking process. This session will be presented in Spanish.

Los participantes recibirán una introducción a los estándares GATE y los Indicadores de pensamiento de profundidad y complejidad. La sesión se centrará en desarrollar una comprensión del impacto de las pautas de pensamiento en la extensión del vocabulario, la metacognición y el proceso de pensamiento general.

Connecting the Depth & Complexity Thinking Prompts to the Classroom and at Home / Conectar los avisos de pensamiento de profundidad y complejidad al aula y al hogar

With all of the possibilities to engage with the Depth and Complexity Thinking Prompts, this session will connect the foundations of language and thinking to specific content areas. Prior experience with the Depth and Complexity prompts is recommended. This session will be presented in Spanish.

Con todas las posibilidades para interactuar con los Indicadores de pensamiento de profundidad y complejidad, esta sesión conectará los fundamentos del lenguaje y el pensamiento con áreas de contenido específicas. Se recomienda experiencia previa con las indicaciones de profundidad y complejidad. Las tres sesiones se realizarán en español.
