Developing Academic Acceleration Policies: New National Guidelines
Limited Capacity seats available

Coherent academic acceleration policies ensure that students who might benefit from acceleration will be considered. The free publication, Developing Academic Acceleration Policies, was launched at the National Association for Gifted Children convention in November 2018. The presenter, one of the authors, will describe the checklists for whole-grade acceleration, subject acceleration, and early entrance to kindergarten/first grade. This will assist educators to consider all relevant questions when designing an acceleration policy. Sample policies will be provided.
