Participants will be introduced to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and the relationship UDL has to pedagogical practices for gifted learners. Emphasis will be placed on the intersection between UDL and the prompts of Depth and Complexity as a means to activate potential in not only formally identified gifted populations, but also those individuals who may be advanced but not formally identified as gifted. Participants will create a tool that can be used for instructional planning purposes. A baseline background knowledge of the prompts of Depth and Complexity is suggested. Knowledge of UDL is not required.
