The 21st Century Learning skills of critical thinking and creative problem solving are imperative to developing our next generation of responsible and successful citizens (Wai & Worrel, 2016). However, the skills often merely lip-service when it comes to effective integration into curriculum and pedagogy. We examine the development of these skills over the course of a schoolwide effort to incorporate making and design into the curriculum. We also examine this effort through change management.
