AVID's proven learning support structure known as WICOR, incorporates teaching and learning methodologies in the critical areas of Writing to Learn, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading to Learn. How does WICOR support our gifted and talented students? How do we provide differentiated strategies to support GATE students with organization? In this session we will take a deeper dive into using collaborative structures to engage gifted students in inquiry-based discussions to challenge and motivate their learning.
