Through nimble questioning, students are invited to think rather than being told what to think. In this session, participants will convene around a common text and engage in a sequence of activities that scaffold the depth of student-centered knowledge acquisition. After this experience, teachers will have the opportunity to reflect on the pedagogy that promotes inquiry and equips students with the nimble habits of mind of effective critical thinkers. Teachers will leave with the understanding that when students engage in Inquiry-Based Learning, they own their thinking and we hear their voices.
