The Gratitude Project is a yearlong, multi-discipline exploration of the universal concepts of Gratitude, Power, Conflict, Relationships, and Change. This session will demonstrate how through interviews with family and community elders, students uncover details of legacy, sacrifice, and perseverance. Both a personal and shared experience, learning is differentiated as students construct and then prove their own generalizations. Reflections through art and writing allow students to connect and respond to their developing sense of personal gratitude.
