Limited Capacity seats available

This is a partial replication of a mixed-methods study of teachers regarding certification practices in Gifted. Data sources included Likert survey questions and open-ended questions with teachers at seven schools. Since the original study, there have been changes in funding. Teacher perceptions of the necessity for GATE certification and/or training have changed as well. Teachers indicate that training is valuable, but not necessary for all teachers. Findings also indicate growth in teachers’ knowledge regarding gifted.
