The theory of multiple intelligences and brain-based learning provide opportunities for educators to focus on differentiation in English/Language Arts classrooms that match the unique ways gifted students learn. This presentation examines how to maximize gifted students' learning potential, explores how knowledge of the brain affects learning and provides ways students and teachers can develop their understanding of themselves and others. Participants will discover their dominant intelligences and experience activities demonstrating the intelligences.
