Teaching human ecology links knowledge and skills for several disciplines, a variety of learning styles, and high-level problem solving on real-world issues. In this hands-on session, engage in hands-on activities that cover a range of human ecology topics including human population and natural resource use trends, and their resulting impacts on ecosystems, biodiversity, climate and the availability of fresh water. Receive electronic lesson plans matched to state standards and ideas for differentiation in the classroom.
