The new History-Social Science Framework focuses on four shifts, one of which is citizenship. But integrating citizenship into your content can be intimidating. Fortunately, this shift offers an opportunity to challenge your students with high-level activities, and this session will focus on strategies for imbuing citizenship into instruction -- such as structured debate -- which will enhance and enrich any history content.
