A general principle of education is that a curriculum should address and thus respect individual learner characteristics. Curriculum designed to be a catalyst for developing advanced capacity in young people must be flexible enough to provide them with appropriate challenge and support at all points in their evolution as learners. This session will share examples of curricular planning tools, instructional pedagogies, and practices that can be used to design curricular options for advanced level students.
