Do our classrooms have clear student guidelines for discussing thinking and learning? Do we share airtime equally? Explore criteria-clarifying tools that provide students with necessary expectations to aim for and maintain effective collaborative conversations in whole class, small group, and partner discussions. Students will be productive in rich, structured conversations that emphasize accuracy and relevance, and empowered to actively participate and effectively monitor their own level of engagement in all current and future communications.
