Come to the Room Where it Happens! In this session discover how you can revolutionize the way you teach the Revolutionary War with a pop culture perspective. Two teachers of gifted students will share how they brought the hit musical Hamilton to the classroom to merge student interest with social studies. This dynamic unit brings the war to life using songs from the hit musical. Don’t throw away your shot to see how you can infuse music, lyric analysis, and even break-up letters into your Revolutionary War unit! Also, learn how you can apply this process to create your own engaging units in social studies.
