Cheryl Rys has taught elementary school for thirty years. She currently teaches Kindergarten in Laguna Hills. She completed the GATE Certificate program through the University of Southern California. As a Teacher Leader in her district, Cheryl taught lessons to demonstrate the current shifts in education. She is also a member of Saddleback Valley Unified's GATE Transformation committee. Cheryl has had multiple opportunities to teach at CAG’s GATE Demonstration School, as well as, provide professional development on a variety of topics for the elementary grades.
